ORIENT WATCH CO.,LTD. releases the Cal. 469 40th Anniversary Limited Edition model in the autumn of 2011. This special model is released to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Cal.469 mechanical movement. Limited to an exclusive 3,000 pcs. (EM7F001B : 1,000 pcs / EM7F002B : 2,000 pcs).

The Cal.469 is a movement that has been at the core of ORIENT WATCH’ s history since its production began in 1971. It has also undergone evolution and development during these 40 years, and its evolution and development continues to this day. The limited model comes with a robust case reminiscent of the “King Diver” that enjoyed popularity in the early 1970s. The dynamic design is combined with a somewhat casual flair to appeal to male users’ sensibilities. The model features a large-sized case, 45 mm in diameter, giving the watch a contemporary look, and it boasts improved performance, offering water resistance to 200 meters. A serial number is engraved on the caseback and the “Cal. 469 40th Anniversary” logo is on the dial − features distinguishing the watch as a limited edition model.

I really like the big case look. 45mm is big but it can be bigger! I want my Orient watch to be noticed and it does get some compliments

Im tired of people telling me how nice my watch is! I really like this one. It also came with a nice box made for this specific watch. Don't know what the 40th anniversary is for because I know Orient's been around longer than that, but the watch is fantastic!
