Model No. CEV09002W
With the brown leather band and white dial, the CEV09002W truly encapsulates the "classic" look. This watch makes a great heirloom to pass down generations.

- 'recommended for an entry-level automatic' Review by Robin on 11/17/13
RatingWhite-dialed version of the "Chief" is virtually identical to the CEV09001D, which is the blue-dialed version of this series, so refer to that model number for my review of that watch as well for further comments and specifications.
I happen to prefer this one over the blue dial. The white face is easier to read, and because of the crystal's tendency to produce reflections, those are much less noticeable with the lighter-colored dial. In addition, the lighter color also allows the dial pattern to be seen more clearly-a bonus from an aesthetic perspective.
One thing I do not like about this version is the strap, which has an odd, synthetic feel reminiscent of vinyl. Even worse, my strap wore poorly, and began to disintegrate after only 4 or 5 wearing occasions. Therefore, it would be wise for prospective buyers to have a backup strap (remember, a 19mm strap fits best on this watch), since no such protections are provided under warranty.
- 'Hmm... Get more accolade's then my Tag' Review by Jason C. on 8/8/11
RatingI bought this watch about 6 months ago and have heard a half dozen people say "nice watch" or " What kind of watch is that?" or today's statement (8/8/11) "What are you doing these days... By the looks of the watch it must be something right" - while getting my hair cut.
Classic look and runs great time. Oh yeah and I paid $75.00 on one of the discount days rather then the $1200 I paid for my TAG.
