'Orient CFT00003D Racing Watch Review' Review by Steve
Rating
Hey guys, so I got this watch about 2-3 weeks ago but now I finally had some time to write up a little review and post some pics. This is an Orient automatic racing watch that is semi-skeleton in design and uses the slide-rule bezel for log-base10 multiplication/division calculations. It also converts MPH to KMPH and Nautical Mile. Additionally it features a power reserve on the bottom of the dial.

OK so let's review the watch, shall we?

- The bph is 21,600, so it doesn't sweep as nice as an ETA doing 28,800, alas, no big deal.
- The lume is pretty good and it charges quickly, not sure what they use, maybe superluminova C1? (anybody know?)
- General appearance. Well I must like the way it looks or I would have never gotten it. In my opinion it is a very cool looking watch, not very fancy, which is why I got it (to spread out my collection a bit). I love the dark blue (my fav color).
- the crown is on the left side of the watch because they needed to move around the pieces to get the reserve on the bottom, apparently. Now I know how annoying it is for you righties with the watch on your left hand having the crown dig into your hands!
- the watch has been fast about 5-6 seconds as day, I believe. I haven't re-set it since I got it and at this point it's about a minute 45 seconds fast. Actually, I think I'll re-set it now matter of fact (ha).
- The back of the watch is sapphire as well as the front. The back allows you to see the movement, which is always my favorite part!!
- This watch, like most Orients, does not hand wind manually at all, take that for what it's worth to you.
- The band (22mm, tapers to (probably) 20mm) is of fantastic quality and it is fitted into the lugs specifically for this model so it is flush to the case. The band has a butterfly deployment clasp, which is the only type of leather band clasp I CAN have on leather or I WILL NOT WEAR IT (lol). It has a croc pattern to it, which makes it pretty nice looking.
- the case is 43.7mm, 12mm high
- my wrist is 7.5 inches in diameter for reference.
- Overall, I spent $280 on this watch (50% off retail). Like others have said often, it's quite a bit of bang for the buck. Definitely money well spent!
- Any questions feel free to ask, as I may have missed something!

'Love the watch' Review by Newton

Really Love the watch. The semi-skeleton front face is a little terminator esque and looks absolutely brilliant. For the price it is an absolute steal.
