This is my favorite orinet. i have the black ray, blue ray and the ray raven (all black)

my favorite parts are:
dial, bezel, crown 1 and crown 2, marking clasp, and the best is the LUME..

I own a Rolex and an Omega, yet the Ray probably gets more wrist time. A tremendous value for its quality and a real winner for its styling. It's a heavy piece, not for small wrists, but its presence is undeniable. I've had mine for about a year now and I have to say, I'm more impressed with it today than the first day I got it.

If money matters to you at all, definitely consider the Ray.

I bought this watch on a wimp. Had it for a couple of months now and never adjusted the time once! Amazing!
It does fluctuate a bit but if you wear it most of the day like I do, it is extremely accurate.
I also had an older Tag Hauer 4000 automatic from new and compare to this watch, that movement is a piece of you know what.
I am not sure if I just lucked out or is mine a reflection of the general quality of Orient watches, but this is definitely the best bang for the buck by a good country mile !!
The only negative I have on this watch is the steel band sounds very tinny.
Can go wrong with this watch.

This is my third orient watch, and probably now my favorite. You would literally have to spend over a thousand dollars to get a watch of this quality from any other brand. All three of my orients are insanely accurate and the finish work is beautiful. Makes you wonder what you are actually paying for in other watch brands, when you can buy a watch with an in house japanese movement in the 200 dollar range that keeps comparable time with high end swiss movements. I love orient!

Orient hit this one out of the ball park. This beauty has everything I was looking for in a diver. It's got classic good looks and a solid, no nonsense feel to it. Not too big... not too small. And of course you get the accuracy you've come to expect from Orient. Just watching the second hand sweep smoothly across the dial is a thrill for anyone with a passion for timepieces. Thanks Mark and everyone at Orient for such a great product at an affordable price.

I've had my Orient Ray for 4 days now and I love it. The watch looks very classy, hard to believe how reasonably priced it is, given all that you get for the price.

I have been comparing the time to my cell phone once every night and I haven't noticed an loss (or gain) in time. The watch is very accurate.

This watch looks great. No complaints aesthetically. Looks exactly like I thought it would. The main part of this watch that sets it apart is the luminescent quality and the accuracy. My particular watch remains within one SECOND a day in accuracy. That is outrageously accurate for a mechanical watch. I wear the watch everyday and I wouldn't sell it to anybody for anything. If you want an accurate, stylish, and rugged watch for a great price, buy an Orient.
