Orient Sponsors Subaru in the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race
Los Angeles, CA – May 01, 2009 – Orient Watch Co., Ltd. has signed on as a sponsor for Subaru Tecnica International Inc.'s (STI) participation in the Nürburgring 24-Hour Race. STI is the motorsport division subsidiary of Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd.
As a sponsor, Orient Watch’s company name and logo will be emblazoned on STI’s Impreza WRX STI, to be entered in the 37th ADAC Zurich 24h Race (generally known as the Nürburgring 24-hour Race, officially known as the ADAC Zurich 24h-Rennen Nürburgring Nordschleife) on May 23-24, 2009.
The ADAC Zurich 24h Race is held each May in Nürburgring, Germany. It is the largest endurance race in the world, with over 200 cars from around the globe participating.
STI manufactures automotive vehicles under the slogan, “Running Strong and Supple,” and participates in racing events as the ideal way to test and evaluate its proprietary technical expertise for application to future automotive development. Inspired by STI’s efforts, Orient Watch will offer support as team sponsor and provide watches to drivers and staff.
