View the CEYO4005BA watch is the only piece of jewelry a man should wear, and he should make it stand out.

When the time came that I could actually afford a watch, I went with an expensive Swiss watch for nearly $3,000. It was a mechanical, automatic chronograph, with very subtle features.

As years went by, no one ever seemed to notice it, which kind of infuriated me. Why on earth did I spend $3,000 on a watch yet not have a single person ask me about it? I’m not that vain, but I just wanted some sort of reaction from people … I got nothing.

It was then that I started doing more research online, and I realized that marketing dollars is usually what goes into the price of an expensive watch, and not actual quality, design, or history.

This was when I discovered the Orient Watch Company, a worldwide brand specializing in mechanical watches with in-house movements since 1950. From reading reviews about Orient online, you could tell that it was the watch industry’s best kept secret.

As my second watch, I wanted one with a leather band, so I went with the
CEY04002B Orient Worldtime Automatic. It was far more beautiful in person than in the pictures online.

The big black face, the small second hand, the world time on 24 cities, the power reserve indicator, all on a mechanical, automatic watch. I bought it for $500, but it looked, felt, and behaved like a $3,000 watch.

Every time I wear my Orient Worldtime Automatic, someone asks me to take it off and show it to them. I then usually proceed to talk about all of the intricate features it has as well as the mystique behind mechanical watches.

Everyone assumes it’s a $3,000 watch … if they only knew. I can’t wait to buy another Orient.
