"with the Kano, Orient now has a classic diver watch which fits undeniably in the category of World's Most Classic Mechanical Divers. congrats! the large but perfect size and archetypal pure design of this piece may be obvious in pictures, but in person it is stunning. there's not much that could have made this piece better...perhaps a raised crystal (which can be added) and bezel marker lume (which i already did add with water resistant lume paint)...but other than those personal choices this is the perfect dive watch. never mind that the price is insanely affordable. even if it weren't i'd love this piece. the bezel is one of the smoothest buttery 120 clicks i've ever operated, the retro markers and long sword hands are gorgeous. the in-house movement is smooth and accurate out the box. while i added a lume dot on the bezel for my own operation in the dark, the aluminum bezel looks clean and classy with or without a lume pip on it. the rubber dive strap has been called by others the most comfortable they've ever worn. it is for me. this is not just the pinnacle of orient's own classic diver line, it takes its place in the world of dive watches as one of the best, regardless of the price. i have the classic black bezel on black dial version, but these are affordable enough i am considering the red bezel version too. simply put, thanks orient...this is a wonderful dive watch."
