Understated Brilliance.
"I am a watch geek and always have been. I've had, and still have, a number of wristwatches. I am not an horologist or a wealthy collector, but I'm not a poor one either. I love watches for what they are to me, not what they purport to represent for the wearer. It has always amazed me, since I bought my first Orient watch several years ago, how much quality, aesthetics, class, and style are packed into these watches at this price point. Granted, there is no sapphire crystal, but I don't need one unless I am using a tool watch in a tool watch environment. This is a dress watch that I wear with a suit or with jeans and a t-shirt. Orient watches are an incredible bang for the buck. And this watch, in particular, is my favorite. The dial is just stunning, especially in sunlight, and the silver indices with the sword hands, the outlined date window, the domed glass, the applied logo, and the sparse cursive writing on the dial just pop and scream modern-vintage styling. The size is perfect for me with a 6.75 wrist. This watch has to be seen to be believed and appreciated. You can't go wrong here."
